The Settings page contains your group's core information, website address, and search engine details.
Group details
You can update:
- Group name
- Registered charity number
- Address and postcode
- Notification email addresses
Notification emails receive contact form enquiries and shop order notifications.
Remember to click Save after making any changes.
Changing your group name
Changing your group name will also change your Scout Pages website address.
Your previous Scout Pages address will automatically redirect visitors to the new address, but you may need to update any bookmarks or links shared elsewhere.
Search engines
The Title and Description fields control how your website may appear in search engines such as Google.
Choose a clear title and description that helps parents, volunteers, and prospective members understand who you are and what you do.
Website address
Every Scout Pages website includes a free Scout Pages address.
You can also connect a custom domain once your website has been activated.
QR code
Scout Pages automatically generates a QR code that links directly to your website.
You can download and use it on posters, flyers, newsletters, and recruitment materials.
